It Depends What You Believe

And on what others can get us to believe, somehow, anyhow, every which way.

I came to these Blogs halfway through. Just because a book or author is mentioned here or elsewhere, does not mean (a) I/ we understand it, or (b) agree with it. Things spark off an idea, and may be of interest or use to someone else. As you yourself are searching, all sorts of different stuff will impinge on your mind leading to other ideas, or a complete turnaround.

When the whole New Age thing started, it seemed a great way to be more accepting of other thinking and ways. The Internet meant people could find information, contact people anywhere, whether they could travel or their health let them do much, and share notes or argue without the same personal risk.

It would be good if the extra potential had been as beneficial as we thought, but there were more options in a vastly different playing-field. I was left to my own devices as a stubborn youngster, at a time when children were free to roam and choose their friends, so I ploughed into things while keeping one foot on dry land - through fear. From an interest in the weird and wacky, I saw patterns of thinking and themes, suggesting things were often not as they seemed or were portrayed. My point in doing what I do, is a strong belief that people should be free to make up their minds without fear or favour. And to change them, not have someone make us comply. Or get in under our natural defences without our realising.

You've heard of Softly, Softly, Catchee Monkey. Well there is worse than that afoot.

Whether you have any interest in religion, there is talk about an Antichrist looming on the scene, and gory scary films about possession and ghouls. Thomas Horn, mentioned above, and authors he collaborates with, think there will be such a person or event arriving soon, seemingly the answer to our needs while having other designs. They reckon on there being other, lesser players of an antichrist type, including the World Wide Web in the scheme. (I think I already met some!)

And it all ties in with artificial intelligence, even implants into humans, worldwide surveillance and control, enforced vaccinations. Think coronavirus,  compulsory testing, immunity passes, not to mention constraints being imposed and changed over and over. Other countries have hit trouble with a further rise in infections, at a time when England are opening up/ forcing open many more avenues. People are naturally sceptical and scared. At least most of us got some facemasks and food in.

Is It A Virus Though?

Although I would not be able hand-on-heart to claim I believe the coronavirus situation is a hoax, I cannot ignore some points made by the author of this book, and some others. It's over to you.

by Nicholas Kollerstrom

We do need to know what exactly is being tested, and whether it is accurate or merely as close as we can get at this stage. Figures of the spread are mounting but, if one takes into account what doesn't add up, well it doesn't. Just do your best to protect yourselves.

It Also Depends What You Need!

Almost a Year since we heard of Coronavirus, there is conflict over what's best for most people, or some groups/'cohorts', even what is possible. We've been spooked by higher fines for transgressing what's often guidance rather than actual law (but don't hold your breath). If we blink, might we fall foul of an earnest police officer or Covid marshall, with a different view of our 'reasonable excuse' for taking the air? Might our emails or Zoom calls be compromised?

In England, we seem caught between 'the devil and the deep blue sea'. Reopen schools, and people claim it'll cause more spread of infection. Keep them closed, and there's worry over isolating children from friends, education, wellbeing or safety. Safety of vaccines is an issue, as we hear of health hazards or deaths of young and old alike, occurring shortly afterwards. Older people are thought at greater risk, both from getting Covid and getting the jab, so there's been some backtracking. People over 70 or of whatever age or category with concerns, are called 'vaccine resistant', as in denial, or purveyors of false information. So do they need to be wary of 'persuaders' ready to turn up at their door, or a nice-looking doctor there to vaccinate them at home, the military ready to test them, or ....? Surge testing is put in place when even one person in a region is thought to be infected with a variant strain.

On 'variant strains', according to reputable virologists, UK are taking risks by delaying the second dose from something like 3 weeks to 3 months, and even using a different vaccine from the one given as first dose. Not enough is known yet, so find out what you can to make up your own mind. Otherwise it is not informed consent. There could be problems over further mutant strains, over apparently requiring a vaccination (what kind?), every year from now on. Etc. Young children in some parts of US and UK, will be part of an experiment over vaccination.

These things are why this Blog exists, and why many people are raising concerns -  before it's Too Late to avoid possible complications. An irony is that, if one stays home for around 10 days, it should be evident that infection is no big problem. But if you get vaccinated, you can then start testing positive, or can spread infection.

A handful of Book Covers appear haphazardly at the bottom of the page: see what you think. Blogger are moving to a new platform at end of June, and there are no guarantees it will work on what we have at our disposal, or what is up will be addable to. My five-minute online banking jobs take thirty (site too complex to load fast), and the signal blinks out as traffic whizzes past again. Can we rely on WiFi or might we revert to dial-up? Did you get a nice new credit card with instructions to use your PIN the first time it's used? Phoned for a PIN reminder, finally speaking to a helpful human who can only arrange it if he sends another nice new card, or puts me back round the automated system that wrongly reached him. I'd have agreed to almost anything by then. Ever hear of Covid fatigue? You can understand why people are agreeing to things just to get somewhere. As spontaneity vanishes, expedience rules. Some people behave as though adapting to a new job, but is it wearing thin?

Whatever the reasons, or however these things happen, people may choose similar avenues to get by. A warning today that some estate agents are allowing property viewings without social distancing or other precautions, as people draw up lists of homes to visit on a tight schedule. Expedience, where what the 'self' needs rules the day for many, with consequences for others. Some travellers on public transport wear facemasks from day one, but before the week is out, many can't be bothered. A bit of a rocky journey into the future.

In Coming Apocalypse he explains how and why the 'crisis' developed and explains the sort of future we can expect now that lockdowns have destroyed the global economy and changed our way of life.
